Handling of personal information pertaining to the Low Voltage Power Purchasing business
SB Power Co., Ltd. (“SB Power”, or the "Company") will handle personal information obtained directly or indirectly pertaining to the Low Voltage Power Purchasing Business (the "Low Voltage Business", or the “Services”) as follows:
1. Purpose of Use of Personal Information
The Company will use the collected personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the objectives described below. In the event that the Company uses personal information for purposes other than those described below, in each case the Company will clarify the purpose of use after the change, publish an announcement, and seek your consent.
Purpose of use in the Low Voltage Business

For the conclusion, fulfillment, modification, or cancellation of an electricity supply agreement between the customer and the Company or a wheeling service agreement between the Company and a general electricity transmission and distribution utility*1.

For operations associated with the use of the switching support system provided by the Organization for Cross-regional Coordination of Transmission Operators (Japan)

For customer support such as providing information and guidance on procedures for utilizing the Services.

For installation, maintenance security, upkeep, and repair of defects, etc. of the electric facilities and other equipment belonging to the electric power company used in the provision of the Services.

2. Provision of information to a third party
The Company may provide personal information to third parties in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations. In addition, the personal information handled by the Company may be provided to third parties in writing or by electronic or magnetic means as described below. If you request us to do so, we will refrain from providing personal data that identifies you to third parties. However, as a result, we or partner companies may no longer be able to provide you with services.

The Company may provide general electricity transmission and distribution utilities with personal information, such as name, address and telephone number, necessary for the purpose of concluding, executing, modifying or cancelling a wheeling service agreement.

For the purpose of providing services in collaboration with other companies, SB Power may provide our service partners with personal information, such as name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, and other information necessary to identify the customer and to register and provide the services.

The Company will provide the personal information of applicants or subscribers (name, address, telephone number, etc.) to SoftBank Corp. or its group companies, LY Corporation or its group companies, or other businesses for the purpose of introducing promotional campaigns, or supplying, analyzing, improving or providing support for products or services.
3. Shared use
The Company may share the use of personal information acquired in the course of providing the Services with the following parties: (The Company will share use of personal information only with the business operators required for the purpose of such shared use. Therefore, the Company will not necessarily share use of personal information among all electricity retailers, general electricity transmission and distribution utilities, and demand control contractors)

[Usage Regarding the Electricity Generator’s Billing System]
- Scope of Parties Who Share Information
- Our company (electricity generation contractor) may share personal information of our customers (electricity generators) with general electricity transmission and distribution utility.
*An electricity generation contractor refers to an electricity retailer who has an electricity generation adjustment supply contract with a general electricity transmission and distribution utility.
*An electricity generator refers to a generator based on the general provisions for wheeling service, etc. stipulated by a general electricity transmission and distribution utility. Please note that the electricity generator information shared is limited to supply point information at the same demand location as the electricity generation location.
- Purpose of Use
- For notification and billing of the calculated amount for grid-connected electricity reception service fees (billing on the electricity generation side)

- ① Basic information: Name of electricity generator, postal code, address, telephone number, email address, start/end date of the procurement/grant period as per the Renewable Energy Special Measures Act.
② Information regarding electricity receiving points: Electricity receiving point identification number, wheeling contract amount information, billed amount, discount category, meter reading date, whether or not the contract has been changed, meter information, electricity receiving voltage

4. Requests for disclosure of personal information and other inquiries
Individuals whose personal information is held by the Company may request the Company to notify or disclose the purpose of use of the information; disclose, correct, add or delete information; stop using, delete, or stop providing the personal information to third parties (hereinafter "Disclose" or “Disclosure”). However, the Company may not be able to respond to all disclosure requests. In those situations, the Company will reply with the reason why the disclosure cannot be made. A fee of 1,650 yen (fixed postal money order) inclusive of tax (10%) will be charged per request for notification or disclosure of the purpose of use of personal information.

The term “electricity retailer” means a business operator to which none of the grounds for refusal of registration prescribed in Article 2-5, paragraph 1 of the Electricity Business Act (Act No. 170 of July 11, 1964) apply and that has been registered by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry as an electricity retailer (including business operators deemed to have been registered as electricity retailers pursuant to the Supplementary Provisions of the Act for Partial Revision of the Electricity Business Act (Act No. 72 of 2014) (for the names, locations, etc. of the relevant business operators, please refer to
